She didn’t understand what it was like to be filled with a love so strong that it made your chest ache—a love you could only feel and not express. Keeping love buried was a lot like keeping anger pent up, I’d learned. It just ate you up inside until you wanted to scream or kick something.

Just finished all twelve books in the Cirque Du Freak series, written by Darren Shan. It’s pretty hard to let that series go I got so attached to Darren and Larten it was like they became real good friends of mine and there was so much emotion passing between Darren and Steve I felt so bad they had to be pit against each other. I thought the ending was very clever. It was just like The Outsiders, where Ponyboy talks about writing his story and it turns out the book was his story. Those endings that come full circle are always neat I think. I need to get my hands on The Saga of Larten Crepsley. I wish I could have been his assisstant, he was a cool guy. Creepy Crepsley. ahah.

I’ve gone mad before and recovered. I want to go mad again, but this time let the madness swallow me whole.
Cirque Du Freak: Sons Of Destiny, written by Darren Shan
Even a minute of dying is preferable to an eternity of nothingness.

Saw The Hunger Games Saturday and it blew me away ! Jennifer Lawrence is a powerful Katniss and I know nobody could have done a better job than her. The whole cast is spot on I think. Josh Hutcherson is a lovable Peeta, and Liam Hemsworth a brooding Gale. Donald Sutherland, Lenny Kravits, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Wes Bentley, and Wes Bentley’s beard. Props to you all.
Gary Ross really impressed me with his direction and way of telling the story. I thought it was genius to cut the sound at the Cornucopia and really get the violence through to the audience. I remember during Katniss’s private session when she shot her arrow through the apple, a guy behind me starting cheering ahah. Katniss is a hero for everybody.
